One of the best, grannie's chickensoup. Easy to make and a kids favourite!
Recipe:
Chicken stock:
- 1 soup chicken
- 2 clove
- 1 star anis
- some crushed black pepper grains
- some springs of parsley
- some springs of fresh thyme
- some bay leaves
Extra's:
- Nicely chopped celery
- Nicely chopped leek
- Nicelu chopped carrots
- Some parsley
- Some spagetti (crushed)
To make the stock,
1. Put all ingredients in a large deep bottemed pan, add some cold water (appr. 5 liters).
2. Bring to boil and let it simmer for a few hours (I always use my oven at 160°C)
3. Pass the stock through a fine sieve.
4. Let it cool down and, if neccesary, remove the fat (depends on the chicken)
5. Pick the meat from the chicken
To serve:
1. Bring the stock to boil again and a the extra's + the chicken meat.
2. Serve when the vegetables are soft and the spagetti is al dente.
