Each summer we go camping with a lot of friends from thursday untill sunday. We have this really nice tradition: 'each saterday morning' one of the camping girls' dad shows up with baggs full of vegetables and other stuff he bought on the local market. And all together we prepare a delicious soup, Lescó.
Lescó is an Hongarian stew with lots of bell peppers, but we prepare it as a soup. It's the best hangover meal you ever had!!
Since I don't have the original bellpepper paste (Piros Arany), I always use the turkisch version of it.
Recipie.
- Canned tomates (800 gr)
- 2 big onions
- 1 kg bell peppers
- 2 hot chorizo (or kolbász if you find some) 350 gr
- 2 big spoons of bell peper paste Piros Arany
- Chicken stock
- Pili Pili
- Fry the onions and the bell peppers untill they're a bit soft (add some pili pili if you like it hot)
- Add the Bell pepper paste, fry for one minute
- Add the chicken stock
- Cook for some minutes (15), than add the chorizo
Enjoy!!
